Oct 7 The CSRA Parkinson Support Group will host its 18th annual Walk for the People of Parkinson's fundraiser. The location is at First Baptist Church, 3500 Walton Way Ext. Augusta, GA. Registration opens and activities begin at 9AM, the walk starts at 10AM and ends by noon. The festivities will include interactive exercises, entertainment, refreshments, children's activities and a raffle. The Walk is free but donations are greatly appreciated. Those registering to walk who donate a minimum of $25 will receive a free t-shirt. Proceeds from the event are used to fund new and ongoing research grants, a respite program for caregivers, educational materials and events, and exercise and aquatics classes. Oct 8 You are invited to the 48th Church Anniversary at the Everfaithful Missionary Baptist Church, 314 Sand Bar Ferry Rd, Augusta GA 30901, Bishop Rosa L. Williams, Pastor. Oct 10 Soul Seekers International presents ?Jamaica for Jesus?. At the Indoor Arena in Jamaica from 6AM-10PM. International & local dynamic speakers. Oct 24 Augusta Aglow Monthly Meeting at the Springlakes Clubhouse, 104 Springlakes Drive, Martinez, GA 30907. All are welcome (18 & up), fellowship with refreshments begins at 10:00 a.m. Come and hear Augusta Aglow Sisters who attended the Aglow 2017 Global Conference.
